South Dakota pheasant hunting. Shooters Hunting Lodge is located in Kennebec, SD, right in the heart of pheasant country. Our farm is almost totally planted for pheasants, which leads to our huge population of wild pheasants. Typically you will see hundreds of birds a day.
In addition to South Dakota pheasant hunting we also offer prairie dog hunting, goose hunting, and coyote hunting and walley fishing. Pheasant hunting lodge, wild pheasants.
A hunting guide(s) and one or more of our hunting dogs will go along with each group. They have hunted the land extensively and know the best way to hunt each spot.                   (You are welcome to bring your own dog on your South Dakota pheasant hunting trip.)
Our two story hunting lodge features expansive decks, which lends to “bird watching”. Each room has its own bathroom. There is a separate lounge to relax after the hunt and enjoy a home cooked meal and a game of pool or darts.
Most of our land is in CRP (Conservation Reserve Program) which means it is all wildlife habitat. In our dedication to provide the best possible habitat, we have also planted food plots for additional feed for the pheasants and have planted additional trees every year we have been in business. You will be hunting food plots, tree groves, sloughs, cattails, and grasses.
